Summer Tyre Checklist

Check your vehicle for these six things before setting off on a long journey this summer:

• Tyre pressure suitable for load
• Tread depth above legal limit of 1.6mm
• Engine oil at appropriate level
• Screen wash topped up
• Vehicle lights functioning properly (inc.indicators, hazard lights, headlights, foglights, reverse lights and brake lights)
• Fuel level high enough to get you to your destination
