Looking for tyre storage options near you? For maximum safety and performance all year on the road, Merityre Specialists would recommend using season specific tyres to suit seasonal conditions. Many motorists, however, are reluctant to own both summer and winter tyres due to lack of tyre storage. Here at Merityre Specialists, we offer a solution with our helpful Tyre Hotel.
Our Tyre Hotel is a way to store both winter and summer tyres in a secure tyre storage facility. It is recommended that you switch to winter tyres when temperatures reach a consistent average of 7°C, usually around October in the UK, and back to summer tyres when temperatures are higher than this, usually in March/April.
When you are ready to change your tyres over, simply contact your local Merityre Specialists branch to buy and/or arrange fitment of your seasonal tyres and we will ‘check in’ your alternate tyres.
With help from Merityre Specialists, your tyre storage needs are taken care of – over both summer and winter seasons. We will store your tyres in our secure Tyre Hotel, which is well ventilated, dry and keeps your tyres away from direct sunlight, precipitation or any other conditions that can affect the condition or structure of your tyres.
When it is time to change back, we will inspect your tyres for wear and damage before fitment to ensure that they meet all legal and safety requirements.
For further information on our Tyre Hotel contact your local Merityre Specialists branch where our specialists will be able to offer advice and guidance.
You will be charged for the storage, fitting and balancing of seasonal tyres at the time of fitment. For more details about our car tyre storage options, get in touch with us today. Alternatively, browse our selection of tyres to buy online to ensure you’re ready for the seasonal switchover.
*Terms and Conditions apply. 72 hours’ notice is required for ‘switch over’. Tyres are left at owner’s own risk.
